Let’s get in–personal!
It’s been a long time coming!
We are thankful for the gift of Zoom enabling us to connect safely during the pandemic, but we are more thankful to lay it and social distancing aside.
So BIG NEWS this week! First, after an absence of more than a year, our monthly Fellowship Brunch returns next Sunday, May 9, from 9-9:45am, preceding the worship service at 10.
Normally this feast of fellowship over food is pot-luck, but in honor of Mothers Day, (1) the meal will be provided, and (2) will lovingly be prepared by men-folk.
Second, I am excited to invite you to the launch of our new in person “Body Builders” Community Group on Wednesday, May 12, 7pm, in the church fellowship hall. Aided by the discussion guide, “Why Small Groups? Together Toward Maturity,” we will gather for an eight-session study of the Bible’s counsel on, well, gathering together and interacting in our relationships as Christ followers.
So, I welcome you, one and all, Mercy regular, newcomer, and prospective visitor, as we emerge from this long COVID hibernation into the springtime of fully restored fellowship!
Grace and peace in Christ!
